Everyone in the Pure Living office is excited that once again the Senior Masters Cup is returning to the Puente Romano. With our office being located at this elegant address on Marbella’s Golden Mile and as specialists in luxury properties in the area, we are in an enviable position.
The popular tennis tournament will be held on 28th and 29th September this year and it’s the third time that the Puente Romano Tennis Club has hosted the event that attracts an audience from far and wide.
Once again, it is an opportunity to watch tennis stars of the highest calibre perform on the club’s clay courts. Carlos Moya will return to defend his title against two new ex-number one players: Juan Carlos Ferrero and Marat Safin. Spectators will also have the opportunity to watch Goran Ivanisevic, Yannick Noah, Albert Costa and Sebastien Grosjean, all players who throughout their careers have displayed a high level of tennis, competition and amusement.
The Croatian, Ivanisevic has a Wimbledon Grand Slam title under his belt, while Marat Safin from Russia won the Australian Open in 2009 and Carlos Moya of Spain won the French Open in 1998. Ferrero, also from Spain, has taken 16 titles and the entertaining Frenchman Yannick Noah has won 23.
A general ticket for the event costs only €25 per day and you can get a two-day pass for €45. Preferential seats are priced from €80 and a box from €1,200. And, if you have a preferential seat ticket, you’ll have access to the Preferential Area with Open Bar, tapas dinner and access to Yannick Noah’s concert on Saturday 29th. Yes, there are quite a number of tennis stars who love to play music when they’re not on court.
